About Holmes Harbor Sewer District

Located at 1200 E. Antelope Drive, Freeland, WA, the District's facilities process septic tank wastewater for a community of 460+ homes and has a capacity to receive from approximately 630 homes. The wastewater is treated to Class A reclaimed standards, is stored on site in lined ponds, and in the drier months is pumped via an underground network of pipes to irrigate the surrounding 57 acre, 18-hole golf course owned by the District. The Washington State Department of Ecology has presented the District with 13 consecutive Outstanding Performance Awards in recognition of exemplary effort and work accomplished by HHSD in wastewater management.
